Last weekend I travelled to Sydney to attend the Stampin' Up! OnStage local event. There were 500 like minded SU stampers there to share in my joy.
The event was held at Luna Park - this venue just projects excitement before the event even begins.
It was a long day on Saturday, but a rewarding and fun one. It is so good to see and get my hands on the new SU catalogue, receive some new products and get to play with some of the new products too. There are some very talented demonstrators who showcased some lovely projects and displayed gorgeous card swaps too.
To add to the excitement of the weekend we have a tradition of making your hotel roomie a pillow gift as a little surprise. This time round I was sharing with just 1 other fellow demonstrator who is a very dear friend. I always try and tailor something to their specific needs and think 'a little outside of the box'. Fi loves scarves and wears one most days. So I thought it would be lovely to make her a muslin scarf stamped in the SU bumblebee that she also loves. Add to this some customised gift wrapping and - voila - one pillow gift completed.
